It is incredibly powerful for the price—provided you stay on the 'Pro' tier. However, don't let the marketing fool you: the AI isn't a magic 'fix my business' button. You still need a coherent data strategy. If your data is a mess in your CRM, PowerBI will simply give you a very high-definition view of your mess. My recommendation is to start small. Use the Pro version (£8.20/user) to get your core reporting right. Only jump to the high-cost AI tiers (Premium/Fabric) once your data is clean enough that the AI actually has something useful to say. For most SMEs, the 'Key Influencers' and 'Smart Narrative' features—which are included in basic tiers—are actually more useful than the headline-grabbing Copilot tools anyway.
