If a flight is cancelled, the platform's AI handles the rebooking logic faster than any human could, usually via a 24/7 chat interface. The mistake I see owners make is holding onto the role because they think their needs are 'special'. Unless you are regularly sending teams into active conflict zones or managing 100+ person site visits with zero notice, you don't need a person; you need a better tech stack. Move the responsibility to your team's EAs or use a 'Human-in-the-loop' service offered by the platforms themselves for the messy bits. It's significantly cheaper and much more scalable.
