The transition I'm seeing is a shift from 'Designer' to 'Creative Orchestrator.' You don't necessarily need a human to draw the lines anymore, but you absolutely need one to decide where the lines should go. If you're a small business, you can likely replace a junior design role entirely with a smart marketing lead using Canva and Midjourney.
